Carley loses a tooth!

Carley had another bottom tooth fall out. She got 2 gold dollars from the tooth fairy!

Jennifer gets braces at 38 years old!

You are never too old to do anything! When I was a kid I told my dentist I wanted braces. He looked at me and said "Why are you planning on being a super model?" I wish I was brave enough then to say "YES".

I guess my dentist never thought I was model material. Well...I do not plan on doing any model shots. But I am excited to do something for ME!
I will spend many hours in Dr. Brice Beckstrom office for my kids! Why not for me too!

I have found that I need milestones in my life. i need to have events to look forward too. I started feeling old when I noticed I had met many milestones. So now that I am 38 I am ready to set new ones.

I feel so blessed for my life so far! I have done so many wonderful things! On Easter I had a neighbor and good friend die. Her name was Sara Campbell Baker. I was able to be den leader with her. Our sons Dylan and Tyler were 2 of our cub scouts. While I was serving with her she had braces placed on her teeth. She was so excited! She had had 5 kids. I thought it was great that she was taking time out for herself. At the same time she was an awesome mom! She gave all her heart and soul to her kids. So in a way...getting these braces reminds me of Sara! She had the most warm and cheerful smile!

Jeremy goes to the Senior Ball!

Jeremy went to the senior ball this year with Sierra Miller. Jeremy is still a sophmore. He is 16 years old. I can not believe my oldest is 16. I have enjoyed watching him grow up. He and all my kids bring so much joy to my life. He has been sporting a "Jedi braid." I think it is funny when he asks me to braid his hair.

I love watching Jeremy become a young man. He makes me proud.

I also enjoy having his friends over to the house. What happy times!

BIG "D"!

Dylan is almost taller then his mom. We are pretty sure he will be our tallest kid. He is 11 years old and in the 5Th grade. He is close to completing his final year of elementary school. He has his own room downstairs. He and Justin shared a room for years. They are always fighting. We figured it was worth giving Dylan the office. He is a night owl. He lies awake to all hours of the morning. Poor kid! Getting up for school is not easy for him.
He did a wonderful act of service this month. His buddy Tyler Baker lost his mother on Easter.
Dylan found $85 of Easter egg money. He decided on his own to buy his friend Tyler and his little brother Kyle skim boards. He had the biggest smile when he drove to their house to give them his gift!
Dylan is a sweetheart! He is such a soft hearted kid! We love you Dylan!

Afternoon at kite festival!

Mark and I took the 5 youngest kids to the annual kite festival. The kids all got a free kite for reading! We had a fun afternoon. Our favorite treat was a snow cones. And the kids favorite activity was laser tag in a tent.

Brandon and Brooklyn go to the dentist!

Brooklyn was so excited to go to the dentist! Brandon not so much. They did great! They had no cavaties. They are so fun to spend the day with!

Jeremy...getting ready for Senior Ball.
Justin...got a trim from his dad.
Dylan...spent Easter money to buy friends skimboards. (Tyler and Kyle lost their mom on Easter)Tomorrow is the 5th grade presentation on the boys body.
Lacey...went to Tap dance. Tomorrow is the 4th presentation on the growing girls body.
Carley...brought home a butterfly from school. Her class has been learning about Butterflies. Each student got a butterfly to watch their cycles.
Brandon...got new high tops, shorts and t-shirt.
Brooklyn...got new shoes, shorts and t-shirt. Brooklyn went to ballet and tap.
Mark and Jennifer...got up at 6:45 am today and yesterday to walk 4 miles. We took our new puppy Roxy.

HAPPY EASTER
I had a delightful day with my family! My brothers family came and stayed with us. I was lucky to be the best aunt ever! I got to go to the pet store and pick out a kitten for my nieces! What a fun job that was! We got a little grey kitty! Audrey and Amanda loved there kitty! It was wonderful having my 2 brothers at my home! I also had a fun day watching my 7 kids. They are so fun! Mark and I exchanged Easter cards. I am so in love with my sweet husband. He makes me so very happy!
We spent Easter at Mark's parents house. One last time. We had a fun Easter egg hunt with more then $550.00! So much fun!
At the end of the evening I found out a neighbor and friend died! Her name is Sara Campbell Baker. So sad. She is a lovely person. She had 5 kids. She was in the prime of her life! Life is fragile!
